most common questions
Q. What comes with my traditional session?

A. The Popular, Standard and Simple sessions include time and photography only. A portfolio & order form will be mailed to your home 10 to 14 days after your session for viewing and ordering purposes only. You will be able to purchase picture packages and the portfolio for an additional fee.

Q. I haven’t gotten my portfolio in the mail and it’s been more than 4 weeks! What should I do?
A. Please call 904.880.7455 and ask for the Senior Division. Verify that we have the correct address and we will resend the proofs if they are not already in the mail.

When am I going to get my pictures back?
If you choose a basic session, you will receive proofs in the mail within 3-4 weeks. If you choose an elite session, you will come back to the studio for your image presentation 5 to 10 days after your photo shoot.

What are the actual prices for pictures?
The prices range from a few dollars to thousands of dollars depending on what you want to purchase. The prices will be available on the website in the next few weeks. We sell pictures in sheets, but our packages are our best value. You will also receive an order form when you receive your proofs in the mail (if you choose a traditional session) or when you come in for your photo session (if you choose an elite session).

Q. What if I only want the yearbook background?
A. The smallest session we offer is the Simple traditional session. It includes the yearbook background and 1 additional background. You can forgo the extra background but the price is the same.

portrait tips
* Simplicity is the key when it comes to planning a portrait. Solid colors are best.
Avoid large or bold patterns and bright colors. They draw attention away from the face.

* Long sleeve dresses and shirts are recommended. They draw attention away from the arms and focus on the face.

* Coordinate your outfit from head to toe, carefully selecting shoes and jewelry, as our photographer may suggest a full length pose.

* Darker clothing tends to minimize body size, and light tones tend to emphasize body size.

* Necklines are important. A scoop or v-neck is best if your neck is short and your face is full. A turtleneck or high-necked garment is more flattering if your neck is longer and your face is slender.

* Do not mix light and dark colors. Save stronger colors and patterns for accent items like scarves and neckties.

* White or light pastel clothing looks best in portraits taken against a white or light colored background. Dark clothing looks best photographed against darker backgrounds and creates a more formal mood.

* Our photographers will help you to select the backgrounds most suitable to your needs. To personalize your portraits, we encourage you to bring your own props to the session as well.
